My Favorite Healthy Snacks

I find that when I am busy, I tend to make the worst food choices simply because I am in a rush to eat and need something quick. It feels like it is always easier to find an unhealthy snack to take with me on the go, than it is to find a healthy one. So I have come up with a list of snacks that take little time to prepare, it’s just a matter of having them in your house to grab when you are hungry and not sure what to eat. Some of the items are also on my breakfast shopping list so you may already have them in the house.


Justin's Chocolate Almond Butter: A Healthy Snack

  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Almonds, Walnuts, or Pistachios
  • Avocado
  • Hard-boiled Free Range Eggs
  • Mary’s Gone Crackers
  • Baby Carrots
  • Organic Tomatoes & Basil drizzled with EVOO
  • Berries, including cherries, cranberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries & blackberries
  • Sliced, organic apples dipped in raw, organic nut butter
  • Go Raw bars

TIP: watch your portions! Things like nuts and seeds are nutrient dense but can add a lot of calories to your diet if you over indulge. Measure out 1 serving and put them in a baggie to take with you wherever you want to eat.
